San Francisco's Bayview neighborhood has lost several businesses in recent months. Local residents are fighting to preserve their community, and helping to lead that effort is San Francisco Black Wall Street. The foundation is opening up a new business on Friday, Feb. 28, and NBC Bay Area got a sneak peek. "This space has been a Black business space for over 40 years in this community," said Tinisch Hollins, co-founder of SF Black Wallstreet.

Wise Beyond His YearsFreshman Jeremiah Fears knows how to control all aspects of the game. Fears finished the game with 27 points (7-12 from the field), five rebounds and a career-high 10 assists. February has been a tough month for Fears on the turnover front.

The Virginia Cavaliers (13-13, 6-9) were the latest team freight trained by the Duke Express. Andrew Rohde had 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the 80-62 loss to the Blue Devils. Kon Knueppel had 17 points, and Cooper Flagg finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Duke (23-3, 15-1) led by 14 points at halftime. The lead got as high as 27 points in the second half.

Iowa came into tonight’s game against Maryland having lost six of their seven. The Hawkeyes (14-11, 5-9 B1G) continued their freefall down the Big Ten standings after the 101-75 loss to the Terrapins. Maryland (20-6, 10-5 B1G) hit their first seven shots from the field including being a perfect 4-4 from the three-point line. Maryland’s trio of perimeter players did most of the damage in the first half. Ja’Kobi Gillespie, Selton Miguel and Rodney Rice did most of the damage in the first half.

Vallejo is home to some well-known independent hip-hop artists like Mac-Dre, E-40 and most recently LaRussell. LaRussell is making a name for himself in the music industry, doing it his own way and building an infrastructure for success. It includes a collective of artists known as Good Compenny. LaRussell came up with the logo and name of Good Compenny in 2016. "Pennies are undervalued," he said.
