LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville's mayor reported cleanup around Louisville due to the Ohio River flooding in April is almost finished. The Ohio River crested at nearly 37 feet on April 9, and cleanup started shortly after it began receding. "All of our roads are back open," Mayor Craig Greenberg said in a video on social media. "The highway interchanges, all open. Lights: back on.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Indiana authorities made an arrest in a death that happened back in January. Jackson County Sheriff Rick Meyer said detectives started investigating 76-year-old Larry Fox's death Jan. 30. He said they gathered enough evidence and talked to enough people that led them to Larry's son, 28-year-old Robert Fox. Investigators arrested Robert on Saturday around 4:50 p.m. in Seymour, Indiana, Meyer said. Robert was booked into the Jackson County Jail and is charged with murder.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A southern Indiana high school senior was involved in an accident with a car Friday night. In a post on social media, the Jeffersonville High School volleyball team said senior Alex Avila was involved in an accident. A lot of details aren't available right now, however they did say he's in the hospital with a traumatic brain injury. "We are asking for prayers to focus on the immediate need of healing and recovery for this awesome guy," they said.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police said the driver of a truck that hit a little girl in an apartment complex parking lot in Fairdale turned himself in on Friday. Paul Taube has been charged with tampering with physical evidence and leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid. According to court documents, Taube was driving his truck in the Regency Park Apartments complex when he hit the 3-ear-old girl.
