Coventry City Football Club have sent their condolences to the family of Keaton Slater who they described as a huge supporter of the team. Keaton was fatally injured on Radford Road, in Coventry at about 16:30 BST on Friday. Dozens of floral tributes have been left at the scene of the crash and one resident told the BBC it was "gutting" for the family and the local community.

A place where people did not feel judged, she said.

A pedestrian has been seriously hurt in a suspected hit-and-run. The victim, a 19-year-old man, was struck by the vehicle on Sky Blue Way, Coventry, at about 19:10 GMT on Friday. The vehicle was then driven off, West Midlands Police said. The teenager was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Shortly afterwards, a 26-year-old man went to a police station in the city and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink-driving.

The museum opens only on Thursdays and Fridays, is run entirely by volunteers and relies on donations from the public.
