Tributes have been paid to a 13-year-old girl with a ‘brave heart’ who died in a motorsport racing crash in Co Cork. The young girl was behind the wheel in a heat when her vehicle crashed during the event on Sunday, which was hosted by the Cork Autograss Racing Club near the village of Enniskean. An Irish army chaplain who was stabbed by a teenager in Cork has said he was ‘the right person in the right place at the right time’. Fr Paul Murphy was stabbed seven times during an attack at Renmore Barracks in Galway on August 15 last year, after he was exposed to radical Islamist ideas online.
