PORTLAND (WGME) – The CBS13 I-Team held a town hall event Tuesday about contracting disputes and a proposal to require contractors to be licensed in Maine. The I-Team was joined by a panel of stakeholders and policy makers, including a contractor and lawmaker. Maine is one of just six states that doesn't regulate home contractors in any way. The Maine Attorney General's Office receives more complaints about home contractors than any other trade or business.
