    Jeremy Drake remembers when he and more than 20 men gathered in May 2020 to clean up Fort Worth’s Historic Lake Como Cemetery. The Como native and the others combed through the overgrown 3-acre tract and spruced up unkempt headstones, many of which honor military veterans and founders of the historically Black Lake Como neighborhood. The cleanups have become an integral effort of LEGACY Lake Como, a nonprofit made up of members either born or raised in the neighborhood.
