    WASHINGTON – The day after telling a House subcommittee that the Federal Emergency Management Agency should not be eliminated, Cam Hamilton, FEMA’s acting head, was fired. Politico E&E, a specialty trade publication, first reported that Hamilton was brought to the Department of Homeland Security headquarters Thursday and let go. Leader Steve Scalise voted for Jim Jordan to be the next speaker as did Congresswoman Letlow, and La Reps Graves, Higgins, and Johnson. Voting still going on but Jordan, the Ohio conservative doesn’t have enough to win on the first ballot. Scalise has 6 votes, so far
