Large semitrailers could no longer cut through Old Louisville to access Interstate 65 under a proposed city ordinance. Truck drivers frequently cut through Old Louisville from the industrial areas between Ninth and 15th streets to access I-65, residents say. As a result, car crashes, sideswipes and near misses with pedestrians and cyclists have become all too common as drivers try to navigate old, narrow streets.

Kentucky's attorney general's office will audit election results in Jefferson County following issues with e-voting rolls. Twelve counties are randomly selected after each election in accordance with state law. The drawing was conducted at Kentucky's Capitol using a tried and true method, a barrel filled with 120 slips of paper, each one with the name of a Kentucky county on it.

TODAY, THE LEAGUE RELEASED A REPORT IT ACCUSES LAWMAKERS OF LIMITING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AND RUSHING BILLS THROUGH THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS. THE LEAGUE CRITICIZED THE USE OF SO-CALLED SHELL BILLS, WHICH CAN ALLOW FOR LAST MINUTE CHANGES.
