    A vintage Cadillac convertible that’s long been a fixture on the rooftop of a northwest Calgary diner has now been fully restored and returned to its iconic location thanks to an outpouring of community support. The 1963 classic car, a longtime fixture on the roof of Angel’s Drive-In in Bowness, was spray-painted by vandals with graffiti in late February. A volunteer group of auto body professionals took matters into their own hands just one month later and restored the vehicle.

    Calgary’s Yvonne Ejim was drafted to the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) on Monday night, becoming the first-ever player from the city to be selected.     Alberta’s top public health doctor has issued a public statement in which he highlights the importance of getting vaccinated against measles as cases continue to climb. As of Friday, April 11, there were 58 confirmed measles cases in Alberta. Most of those cases – 54 – have been found in those under the age of 18, according to data posted to the province’s website.
