Now that it's June, it will soon be time to honor an All-Greater Rochester Boys Golfer of the Year for the 2025 season. Coaches will decide on who will be the true AGR Player of the Year when the all-star team is published in a few weeks. However, here is a chance for golf fans to decide who their favorite is for the Golfer of the Year award. Below are nine golfers who qualified for the state tournament, which will be hosted by Section V at Mill Creek Country Club June 8-9 in Riga.

Haverling used a two-out, four-run rally to defeat reigning state champion Wellsville 4-2 in the Section V Class B crossover Saturday night at Honeoye Falls-Lima. It was a long-awaited win for Haverling coach Rachel Ratchford's Rams, who had fallen to Wellsville in the previous three section finals. Haverling will advance to the sub-regional game against Section V's Class B champion Wednesday at Frontier High School in Hamburg.

Eighth-grade outfielder Kyla Piedici's walk-off hit helped second-seeded Rush-Henrietta defeat No. 4 Greece Storm 7-6 in a come-from-behind victory to capture the Section V Class AAA championship Saturday afternoon at Monroe Community College. Coach Lynn Rotola's Royal Comets captured their second title in three seasons. They entered the seveth trailing 6-5. Elizabeth Gleghorn hit a leadoff double, then Lizzie Rinella drove her home to tie it at 6.
