Thousands of protesters gathered in downtown Milwaukee Saturday as part of the nationwide "Hands Off!" movement against the way President Donald Trump and his billionaire ally Elon Musk are running the country. Many of the those who packed E. Wisconsin Avenue and the surrounding sidewalks held signs about a broad range of issues, including Social Security, Medicaid, education, threats to democracy, veterans issues, LGBTQ rights and immigration.
