GRAND FORKS — City leaders are hopeful a $450 million potato processing plant will soon take root in north Grand Forks, in what’s being called one of the largest agriculture projects in the region’s history. MOORHEAD — Two suspects accused in a deadly drive-by shooting in Moorhead are expected to be returned to Minnesota later this week or early next week. Jerome Thomas, 35, is charged with murder in the shooting death of 39-year-old James Hamilton, who was gunned down Sunday morning in the driveway of a home in the 2700 block of 14th Street South. Authorities said Hamilton was shot multiple times in what police are calling a targeted drive-by shooting.
