Maysville High School Senior Bailey Silver placed second in the state level Health Occupations Students of America Phlebotomy Competition, which was held last month in Toledo. The achievement qualifies her to compete in the International HOSA competition next month in Nashville, Tennessee. “Yeah, it was really cool,” Silver said.

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office is offering female high school seniors a training session on how to avoid becoming a victim of sexual assault. Prosecutor’s Office Staff Members Kasi Stewart and Sacha Daniels talked about their Sexual Assault Awareness program and shared how the students benefit from the presentation. “Today we’re doing sexual assault awareness training for our high school seniors and freshmen females at Rosecrans High School,” Daniels said.

Muskingum County Library System Assistant Youth Services Librarian Elayna Glover shared an event that introduces children ages 0-to-5 to some of the basic principles that can be found in music. “30 Minute Mini Music Makers is a unique and joyful introduction to music for our youngest visitors,” Glover said.
