The new space features eight cooking stations that will be used during classes at the medical school starting this fall.     A 16-year-old boy is in the hospital Wednesday night after being shot near the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood. Louisville Metro Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of Johnsontown Road around 8:15 p.m. about a shooting. Officers arrived and found the teen shot, but said he was alert and conscious. The boy was taken to the hospital with injuries that are non-life-threatening, police said. LMPD said officers are following leads on a possible suspect.
