Things got off to a slow start when House Bill 15 was passed in Kentucky, allowing 15-year-olds to get their driver's permit.Now, Team Kentucky is looking to help those eligible get their permit.They will be hosting events across the state on May 17 to help meet the demand of 15-year-olds looking to get their permit.The state will be offering more than 1,500 written permit test appointments at 20 testing locations.

Louisville's alumni team in The Basketball Tournament, The Ville, is the first team to secure home court advantage for the entire event this summer. TBT introduced a new incentive for teams this year, which was if they sold 4,000 tickets, they would secure home court advantage for as long as they're in the tournament. The Ville was the first team to do that, which means if they make it to the championship, it will be played at Freedom Hall.

Police are investigating after a man was hit and killed by a train in the Watterson Park neighborhood.Louisville Metro Police Department said they were called around 3:30 p.m. to the 3500 block of Bluegrass Park Drive, near Newburg Road, about a pedestrian hit.Police said when they arrived, officers found a man who had been hit by a train on the Norfolk Southern tracks.The man was pronounced dead at the scene.Officers spoke with the train conductor who said they sounded the horn when they saw...

More than a dozen men from Kentucky and Indiana are facing charges in a major FBI-led crackdown on child sex abuse.The nationwide operation, called "Operation Restore Justice," resulted in 205 arrests and the rescue of 115 children. It all happened over five days and involved all 55 FBI field offices. The FBI Louisville Field Office was able to obtain 10 federal indictments, resulting in six men being arrested.
