Wawa's first Kentucky location, which is in Louisville, has an opening date. The popular gas station/convenience store will open at 9650 Preston Crossing Boulevard on Thursday, July 24. The search continues for a 13-year-old boy who police say disappeared while swimming with friends in the Ohio River. Louisville Metro Police Department was dispatched to assist PRP Fire around 8:30 p.m. Monday near the Greenwood Boat Ramp. When officers arrived, they were told a boy was swimming with his friends near the ramp and had "not resurfaced."Police said the other swimmers were able to make it out of the water safely.

A search is underway for a teenage boy who police say did not resurface from the water near the Greenwood Boat Ramp Monday night. Louisville Metro Police Department was dispatched to assist PRP Fire around 8:30 p.m. about a person in the Ohio River near the Greenwood Boat Ramp. When officers arrived, they were told a teenage boy was seen swimming with his friends near the ramp, and that he had "not resurfaced."Police said the other swimmers were able to make it out of the water safely.
