SALEM, Ore. (KATU) — Authorities have re-opened the streets in Salem following a shooting investigation, Tuesday evening. A person of interest in that investigation has been detained, police said. In a post just before 5:30 p.m., Salem Police said it had shut down Franklin Street, Elm Street, and 3rd Street between Rosemont Avenue Northwest and Kingwood Avenue Northwest. Less than 15 minutes later, police officials sent out an update saying the roads had all been re-opened.
