JAMESTOWN — Medina High School athletic director Damon Bosche was recently named the North Dakota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association’s Division B District 2 Athletic Administrator of the Year. Bosche is one of eight Division B district recipients this year. During the basketball seasons, Bosche was named the District 2 Athletic Director of the Year.

JAMESTOWN — Throughout his four years at the University of Jamestown, Isaiah Roebuck has become an expert at balancing his responsibilities as a wide receiver for the Jimmies football team and an outfielder for the university's baseball team. “You gotta be good at planning honestly, knowing when practices and meetings and stuff are for both sports,” Roebuck said about what it takes to do both. “Then I would say communication is huge.

JAMESTOWN — The University of Jamestown football team wrapped up its spring practices with a joint practice against Minnesota State University Moorhead on Saturday, April 14, at Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium. The Jimmies and Dragons spent approximately 90 minutes competing in various practices. Jimmies head coach Brian Mistro said the teams had their first- and second-string units compete against each other.

REDFIELD, S.D. — The University of Jamestown baseball team mounted a late comeback to get a 10-9 win over Briar Cliff University (Iowa) on Tuesday, April 15, at the Redfield Baseball Field. The Chargers scored two runs in the top of the first before the Jimmies’ Ryan Muizelaar hit a three-run shot to take a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the frame. The Jimmies added two more in the second to push the lead out to 5-2. The Chargers fought back with two of their own in the fourth to bring it closer at 5-4.

JAMESTOWN — The University of Jamestown men’s hockey team’s season has come to an end and their netminder and captain have been recognized by the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s year-end awards. The Jimmies’ Brandon Weare made it onto the All-Athletic First Team as the squad’s goalie while Brad Fortin was named an All-Athletic Honorable Mention.
