JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Post 14 Eagles were sunk by errors in a 4-3 loss to the Bismarck Governors in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday, June 24, at Jack Brown Stadium. In total, the Eagles had five errors and gave up only one unearned run. The Governors did not commit an error in the game. The first pitch was thrown by Boya Quichocho on behalf of his wife, Lindsey, who is fighting an aggressive form of breast cancer.

MANDAN, N.D. — The Jamestown Post 14 Eagles could not overcome a poor fifth and sixth innings and it cost them in an 11-6 loss to the Mandan Chiefs on Monday, June 23, at the Chiefs’ Veterans Memorial Ballpark. The Chiefs scored four runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to turn what was a 5-4 Eagles lead into an 11-5 Chiefs lead. Please check back for the full story.

JAMESTOWN — A brother-sister duo will be in the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame for the first time in history after Sheri (Kleinsasser) Stockmoe is inducted at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at the Jamestown Civic Center. “It’s a great honor for sure. I think there are a lot of great athletes, frankly, far better than I that probably belong in there before me,” Stockmoe said.
