The families of the three Baltimore City firefighters who were killed fighting a vacant rowhome fire along Stricker Street in 2022 have refiled their lawsuit against Baltimore City. Firefighter John McMaster, who was permanently injured during the fire, is also part of the lawsuit. U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Maddox dismissed the first federal lawsuit filed by the families last month. Lt. Paul Butrim, Lt. Kelsey Sadler, and EMT Kenny Lacayo were killed in the fire.
