Governor Wes Moore says he's focused on Maryland, touting a tax cut for middle class families during a Sunday appearance on CNN. "We just provided middle class families a tax cut that 94% of Maryland families are either going to get a tax cut or see no changes in their taxes at all," said Governor Wes Moore. The Ulman House in Baltimore opened in 2019 to provide free, accessible, and age-appropriate housing for young adults and their caregivers as they battle cancer. "It's a really special place. The house features eight guest rooms and all the other comforts of home including a gym, music room, and even a basketball court.

Lawmakers in Annapolis debated a bill Wednesday that would end automatic charging of minors as adults and leave the decision up to a judge. The bill would give Maryland's juvenile courts jurisdiction over teen defendants charged with some violent crimes. It would essentially flip the current system and prosecutors would have to request juvenile cases be moved up to adult court for even some of the most violent crimes. Advocates say it's more fair and efficient.
