A 50% chance of scattered storms and showers will continue for the rest of the day today with high temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees areawide. Short Term: Our active pattern of storms and showers continue with the main event forecast to arrive Friday night into Saturday.

Winds will come out of the northeast in the morning at 5-10 mpg before turning out of the east and southeast this afternoon. (WJHG/WECP) - Today: Today will be a fantastic day for any outdoor activities thanks to an abundance of sunshine, temperatures in the low 80s, and dewpoints, very comfortable in the 50s. Wind speeds will be very light at 5-10 mph out of the NE in the morning before turning out of the WSW in the afternoon. Tomorrow: Tuesday will see a few more clouds and slightly high dewpoints but rain will stay to our west. Highs will be the warmest of the week, in the low to mid 80s.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Northwest Florida will see a mix of sun and clouds today with warm temperatures continuing on theme in the 80s area wide. Dew points will be in the sticky upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Partly cloudy conditions will stick around on Friday with small rain chances entering into the panhandle late Friday night. High temperatures will be very similar to today, in the 80s. Saturday is our best chance at seeing rain with a 60% chance as a cold front crosses the panhandle.
