The morning of May 10, a "small possible tornado" came through the Destin area. Its route included Henderson Beach State Park and the Fresh Market parking lot off Commons Drive, according to a post on the Destin Fire Rescue Facebook page. Destin Fire was encouraging people to be cautious in the area as emergency crews worked to restore power and clear the area. Several traffic lights in the area have been affected.  "Multiple businesses and vehicles were damaged.
