Nov. 12—Police in Homer are investigating after someone shot into a building belonging to a local reproductive health care clinic. The Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic said in a social media post and in an email sent to supporters that "several rounds of ammunition" were fired into the front of its administrative and education building at about 5:45 a.m. Monday morning.

The Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic said in a social media post and in an email sent to supporters that “several rounds of ammunition” were fired into the front of its administrative and education building at about 5:45 a.m. Monday morning. No one was in the building at the time, and staff discovered bullets and damage when they arrived for the day, the clinic’s post said.

In a contest with only two entrants, Marshall once again rose to the top with his Atlantic giant. Second place went to 5-year-old Silas Dinkel of Wasilla and his 734-pound pumpkin.
