SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio woman says a honk she made in traffic led to a terrifying encounter last month. She’s now sharing dash camera video of a man firing a pellet gun toward her vehicle. Fortunately, she was not injured and no one else was in the car. San Antonio police are investigating the incident as criminal mischief. The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said it happened on May 13 as she was driving on the access road of I-35, preparing to turn onto Thousand Oaks Drive.

KENDALL COUNTY, Texas — A bill awaiting Gov. Greg Abbott’s signature could dramatically alter Texas’ booming hemp industry by banning the sale of THC products. Critics argue the move threatens thousands of jobs and millions in tax revenue. Austin Ruple founded Texas Pur Labs and has been in the industry since 2012, working originally with CBD. Six years ago, he took advantage of a then-new Texas law which allowed hemp farming. He then began manufacturing protects that contain THC.

SAN ANTONIO — Road rage is a violent problem in and around San Antonio that experts believe is getting worse. From October 2023 to October 2024, law enforcement in Bexar County received more than 50,000 reckless driving calls. Just this week, a one-month-old baby was hurt during a shooting off Loop 1604 police believed was caused by road rage. However, there is a group of people looking for solutions to the problem.
