Two-step spin transition around room temperature in a FeIII complex†
Spin-crossover (SCO) at room temperature is a pivotal goal within the field of molecular magnetism. Herein, we attempt to assemble FeIII SCO complexes using a substituted Hqsal ligand, H2L (N-(8-quinolyl)-2,3-dihydroxybenzaldimine). Two complexes [Fe(HL)2]·X·2MeCN (X = BF4− for 1 and X = ClO4− for 2) were obtained and characterized.

DiscussionIn this mixed-methods study, we conducted a comprehensive characterisation of the clinical presentation of patients with aPL-associated chorea. Our findings provide valuable insights into clinical features, laboratory findings, radiological findings, treatments and outcomes of this rare manifestation. The key findings are: (1) Chorea was the initial symptom in 87.9% of patients, with most first consulting a neurologist.

AbstractThe high content of cyanogenic glycosides (CG) in cassava storage tubers seriously affects human food safety. CG play crucial roles in plant growth and development and can protect cassava leaves from being masticated by herbivorous predators. Nevertheless, the regulatory mechanism of CG biosynthesis, which results in a low CG content in storage tubers and high CG content in leaves, remains poorly understood.
