UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. — The summer of Shakespeare is about to return with free shows. Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival's "Play On!" community tour will present a family-friendly version of "Much Ado About Nothing" starting on Friday, May 30. The free production will occur at libraries, parks and community centers through Sunday, June 15. "Much Ado About Nothing" is directed by PSF Artistic Director Jason King Jones.

EASTON, Pa. — It was a night for Nazareth at the 2025 Freddy Awards. Nazareth Area High School's production of "Suessical" won five Freddys, including Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical, at the ceremony, which honors Lehigh Valley and Warren County, New Jersey, high school theater students. The musical celebration was held Thursday in the State Theatre in Easton.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — In the spirit of children's TV icon Fred Rogers, the community gathered Wednesday to celebrate public media and honor those who embody Rogers’ values of kindness, service and neighborliness. Four community members were recognized at the 2025 Good Neighbor Awards, an annual event supporting the Good Neighbor Fund of Lehigh Valley Public Media. The community members honored were Darian Colbert and Yolanda Colbert, Ilene Hochberg Wood, and Judith A. Harris.
