    ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A Berks County woman has died from injuries sustained in a weekend crash in the 600 Block of Union Boulevard, officials said Tuesday. Marie D. Colon Rodriguez, 27, of Wyomissing, was the operator of a motor scooter involved in a collision with a motor vehicle, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said in a release. Colon Rodriguez was pronounced dead at 11:09 a.m. Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg.

    BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Pennsylvania and the rest of the nation saw a spike in antisemitic incidents in 2024, with the Anti-Defamation League reporting the highest number of incidents nationwide since tracking began in 1979. Pennsylvania saw an 18% jump — from 393 incidents in 2023 to 465 in 2024. It was a 308% jump from the 114 incidents tracked in 2022, the report said. Of the antisemitic incidents confirmed across the state in 2024, 72% were acts of harassment, the ADL said.

    BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Drop boxes for mail-in ballots for the upcoming primary election will be in place at seven locations in Northampton County starting Monday, according to the county elections office. The drop box at the Northampton County 911 Center will be in the main entrance vestibule and will be the only drop box accessible around the clock.
