More than 70 projects are either underway or announced in Downtown Louisville, according to the Louisville Downtown Partnership (LDP). The organization's most recent economic impact report notes that Downtown Louisville made significant economic strides in 2024, as the aforementioned projects add up to a potential $2.3 billion in investment. LDP released the report at the 2025 State of the Downtown luncheon held at the Louisville Marriott on March 27.

A popular Clifton restaurant that was forced to close due to a fire last year will reopen next month with an expanded menu. Ensō, located at 1756 Frankfort Ave., will reopen on April 8 after five months of renovations. The restaurant, which blends cuisine from Japan and the Southern United States, closed indefinitely in October 2024 after a fire in the kitchen. The name Ensō is drawn from the Zen Circle, a common symbol in Buddhism that represents coming full circle.
