Ecuador's state oil producer Petroecuador on Thursday declared a 60-day emergency at the South American nation's largest oil refinery, its second emergency in one month, after a fire this week caused damage to some fuel tanks. Petroecuador said it had identified damages at two fuel tanks and in an electrical substation at its Esmeraldas refinery in northern Ecuador, which was affecting operational capacity.

Starbucks China has appointed its first Chief Growth Officer (CGO), Chinese media outlet Late Post reported on Tuesday. The media outlet said the company has hired Tony Yang, former partner and president of digital marketing firm Tezign, to the role. The US coffee giant and Tezign did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment. The appointment comes after a recent management reshuffle at the unit.

The Osaka-based company first became an official partner of the Olympic Games in 1987 and expanded its partnership to the Paralympics from 2014. It has supported the Games with its technologies, product and services, such as the Technics turn-tables at the breaking event in Paris last month.
