SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake legend and long-time Major League Soccer / U.S. Men’s National Team veteran goalkeeper Nick Rimando saw his name added to the Club’s Ring of Honor at America First Field on Saturday. He played an integral role in bringing Utah its first, and to date only, major sports championship. That came when RSL claimed the MLS Cup title in 2009 with a shootout victory over the star-studded LA Galaxy, the second of two MLS Cups won by Rimando (D.C. United, 2004).

PARK CITY, Utah — In its first season as a new nonprofit, Nordic Combined USA (NCUSA) flew far and skied fast in 2024. In Junior Nationals in Park City last season 40 athletes competed in Nordic Combined, the sport that combines cross-county skiing and ski jumping. Park City had 36 youth try Nordic Combined through Youth Sports Alliance’s Get Out And Play programs, and the 2025 World Championships Team included Olympian Stephen Schumann from the Park City Ski & Snowboard Team.
