INDIANAPOLIS - Germaine Pratt might help address one of the Indianapolis Colts' pressing needs. The veteran linebacker, who thrived the past six seasons in Cincinnati under coordinator Lou Anarumo, is an unrestricted free agent after being released by the Bengals Monday. The Colts don't routinely comment on free-agent options, but a source with knowledge of the situation conceded there is a level of interest in at least exploring the possibility.

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Colts have parted ways with Morocco Brown. There was no announcement from the team or reason given for his departure, but Brown no longer is listed as the Colts' chief personnel executive on the team website. He had been one of general manager Chris Ballard's trusted assistants since 2017. Brown had been with the Colts for eight years, the last three as their chief personnel executive. His first five years with Indy was as director of college scouting.

INDIANAPOLIS - Anthony Richardson's development has been stalled by an injury. Again. The Indianapolis Colts' third-year quarterback experienced soreness in his surgically-repaired right shoulder last Thursday and will be shut down at least until training camp opens July 22 in Westfield. Coach Shane Steichen said team physicians determined Richardson is dealing with an aggravation with the AC joint in the shoulder. That's the area that required surgery on Oct. 24, 2023 for a grade-2 sprain.
