NASA has revealed that SpaceX will be responsible for launching the NEO Surveyor mission, which aims to detect and track near-Earth asteroids (NEOs) that could pose a catastrophic threat to our planet. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk sparked conversation Thursday by suggesting it’s time to begin preparations to deorbit the International Space Station, a move that could occur sooner than planned. Musk, posting on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, in the early afternoon, said the station had “served its purpose” and that its utility had become limited.
