    The 2025 Kirst Cup not only brings together five of the best lacrosse teams in New Jersey, but presents an intriguing rematch of the 2024 final between Union County archrivals Westfield and Summit in the semifinals. It is also a rubber match between the two as Summit defeated Westfield, 11-6, in their regular-season game in April, but Westfield exacted revenge with hardware involved the following month with a 6-5 triumph in the Union County Tournament final.
