SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Hit and miss thunderstorms will continue to pop up in our Suncoast afternoons, typical of our rainy season. However, thunderstorms will be widely scattered, so some of us may see very little rain, while others get a downpour. We have little change in this pattern through the upcoming week. By next weekend a small low in the upper atmosphere could increase the coverage of these daily storms.

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Hit and miss storms continue for the afternoon and evening hours. Any and all storms will die down after sunset, then repeat the cycle for Sunday afternoon and next week. We have little change in this pattern through the upcoming week. By the weekend of June 21st, a small low in the upper atmosphere could increase the coverage of these daily storms. Dew points hold the mid-70s. Highs will climb to 90° for the coasts. Inland we’ll see low 90s for high temperatures.
