SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Friday’s record high is 89°, from 1994. This will be the easiest record to tie or break. Saturday we have a better chance to hit 90°, but Saturday’s record is 93°, set 102 years ago. We’re in the neighborhood, but getting that warm could be a long shot. Far to our west is where you’ll find severe thunderstorms, fire danger, and even April snow.
