2 1/1 WARRINGTON footballer Josh Brownhill has steered his club back into the Premier League. The 29-year-old Burnley captain scored both goals as the Clarets defeated Sheffield United 2-1 at Turf Moor on Monday night to confirm their return to the top flight at the first attempt. Former Birchwood Community High School student Brownhill joined the Lancashire club from Bristol City in 2020.

The Warrington 18-year-old’s power scoring, the strength of the world champion’s game, did not fire in the way it normally does on his second day of the year’s fourth European Tour event in Munich.
