INDIANAPOLIS — Four Indiana Fever players are in the top 10 of the 2025 WNBA All-Star team voting. In fact, eight of the team's 12 players have received at least 56,000 votes. Caitlin Clark (1), Aliyah Boston (3), Kelsey Mitchell (7) and Lexie Hull (9) are all getting hundreds of thousands of votes to be on the All-Star team. Natasha Howard(16), Sophie Cunningham(23), Damiris Dantas (30) and DeWanna Bonner (38) all also got votes to be on the team.
Indy Zoo says male tiger has died at 18 years old

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Zoo says its male Amur tiger, Pavel, has died at 18 years old. According to a May 27 post on the zoo's social media, "Pavel had become noticeably lethargic and had a significant decrease in his appetite. After a medical examination, our animal care team made the difficult decision to humanely euthanize him." The zoo said life expectancy for a captive Amur tiger is about 15 years. Pavel was 18 when he died of kidney failure.

INDIANAPOLIS — On May 1, Indiana Gov. Mike Braun signed a new law creating the Indiana-Illinois Boundary Adjustment Commission. The goal of the commission is to explore taking counties from Illinois and adding them to Indiana . Thirty-three Illinois counties have held non-binding referendums saying they don't want to be in the same state as Chicago. Some of those counties are on the border with Indiana; others border Iowa. On July 1, the border commission will be created.

Consent is coming back to a bill on human sexuality at the Indiana Statehouse, after the bill's author moved to remove it. Senate Bill 442 deals with how human sexuality is covered in Indiana schools. It requires board approval for all sex ed curriculum and that parents can review it. It also requires students in sex ed classes to learn about how a fetus develops during pregnancy.
