AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A stalled frontal boundary to our north will keep weather across Georgia-Carolina cloudy and on the wet side for most of the upcoming week. Clouds and the potential for rain will keep high temperatures several degrees cooler than average with highs a degree or two on either side of 90 degrees each day. Highs for your Sunday topped out in the upper 80s with winds from the southwest at 4 to 9 mph.

After a wet afternoon for some, scattered showers and storms will remain possible into this evening/tonight so keep the rain gear close by if you have outdoor plans. Morning temperatures Sunday will be in the lower 70s. Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms look likely after midday lasting into the evening.

Pop-up afternoon storms will be possible for your Wednesday, but Thursday into Friday a cold front will move into the region and stall bringing higher rain chances and cooler high temperatures!This afternoon will be hot and humid again with highs in the mid-90s and feel like temperatures between 100-105°.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - High pressure builds over the area for most of the workweek. This will keep rain chances very, very low with seasonably warm temperatures in the lower 90s each day. Tomorrow through Thursday should also be dry and seasonably warm. Humidity will be quite tolerable for this time of year as well. Highs each day will be right around the 90-degree mark with morning lows in the middle to upper 60s.
