Now named "Charlie Manuel Field," the site commemorates the hometown hero whose journey to Major League success began on that very diamond. Manuel was celebrated in front of family, friends, former teammates and fans.

SALEM, Va. ( WFXR) - The Southern Virginia (SVU) Knights men's volleyball team made history Monday night, claiming their first ever Division III Championship. SVU took down Springfield College in three sets with a sweep to win their title. The best part about it, the Knights did it in front of a packed rowdy crowd who cheered everyone moment.
