Fennville Public Schools has selected Albert Lombard, the current high school principal and interim superintendent, as its new superintendent. Lombard, a two-decade veteran of the district, has served as interim superintendent since January. Ottawa County commissioners advanced a Brownfield TIF Plan for an 84-unit apartment complex in Hudsonville, despite reservations about the high proportion of taxpayer dollars going to the developer. The $6.3 million TIF would offset development costs for The Landings at Rush Creek, a project intended to address housing needs for young professionals and include some affordable units. The full Ottawa County Board will hold a public hearing on the plan April 22.
