Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) insurgents stormed Buni Gari town of Gujba local government area of Yobe State on Friday night, two days after the North East Governors’ Forum meeting in Damaturu on security issues, poverty and poor road infrastructure in the region. A security source who confirmed that the incident occurred at midnight on Friday, said the attackers burnt some parts of the 27 Brigade Tactical Headquarters, Buni Gari.
