BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A night of fun, philanthropy and high-end fashion brought the community together at the Sloan Convention Center for the annual Purses, Pouts and Pearls event. Attendees enjoyed a lively bingo game, all in hopes of winning luxury purses donated for the occasion. The event, now in its 10th year, raised an impressive $133,482 to support the American Cancer Society.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Governor Andy Beshear announced on social media Friday the death toll has risen to 20 Kentuckians who have died as a result of the severe weather this past week. Five more people were announced Friday, including a woman from Warren County. Those who died as result of the weather include an adult male from Pike County, an adult male from Caldwell County, an adult male from Ohio County and an adult female from Morgan County.
