    There is still time to purchase tickets for an upcoming art auction raising money for student scholarships at Nicholls State University. The Artworks Art Auction is happening on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Talbot Hall on the university's campus. To date, Artworks has raised more than $88,000 to support students studying art at Nicholls. "As long as I can remember, we've had a thriving art community here," said Jerome Boudreaux, a member of Artworks.
