Domestic dispute takes deadly turn in Miami Gardens A domestic dispute between a man and a woman Friday morning led to deadly shooting early Friday morning, according to Miami Gardens police. Family members of the couple said they had been together for close to a decade, but it was not a secret how abusive the relationship was. They said inside the home at the time of the shooting were the man, his wife and her two children from a previous relationship, ages 15 and 18.

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava could announce this Friday whether she will veto a controversial measure passed by county commissioners last week to remove fluoride from the county's drinking water. Two Lauderhill children were taken to the hospital after they were bitten by the family dog early Tuesday morning. According to police, just after 7:30 a.m. they received a call about a dog bite in the 2200 block of NW 59 Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a 12-year-old and a 9-year-old who had been bitten by their dog inside their home, according to police. They were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The county's Animal Control was called out.
