TULSA, Okla. — Archaeologists have officially identified a new victim of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre through the Graves Investigation and have been able to put a face to a name in their work. “They’re helping create a clearer picture of what happened in 1921,” said Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols. It’s the ultimate goal of the 1921 Graves Investigation as city leaders unveil new findings during their search.

KEYSTONE LAKE, Okla. — Keystone Lake is sitting more than 20 feet above normal, causing some flooding in the area. It’s also bringing a lot of onlookers to the dam. “She’s roaring,” said Dylan McManus. “There’s a lot of water coming out of it.”McManus stopped by Keystone Lake Dam on his lunch break. “I wanted to see how high the river was with how much rain we got,” said McManus. He wanted to see the steady release of water; the Army Corps says it’s more than 46,000 cubic feet per second.

OKMULGEE, Okla. — The case for citizenship for Creek Freedmen made its way to the Muscogee Creek Nation Supreme Court. "We want our true identify as citizens,” said Ron Graham. Ron Graham is the Chairman of the Muscogee Creek Freedmen Coalition. As a Freedman descendant, he brought more than two dozen people together to watch the Muscogee Creek Nation Supreme Court hearing. He says his dad was on the Freedman roll. "He lived that way,” said Graham. “He went to the stomp dances.
