Steven Brousseau aimed his phone at Gosch and recorded the moment. Providence Farm Collective will have water for its new barn in time for the upcoming growing season following months of back-and-forth with the Town of Orchard Park. After filing a lawsuit against the town in January, the nonprofit farm that gives local refugees and immigrants access to land to grow crops reached an agreement with the town last month through mediation to allow Providence Farm Collective to connect to public water through the Erie County Water Authority.

Two men were arrested Thursday in Cheektowaga following a report of theft at the Walden Galleria and a car crash that followed. Around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Cheektowaga police received calls reporting a shoplifting incident at the Going, Going, Gone! store in the mall. Two men fled from the store in a vehicle, according to Cheektowaga police. Cheektowaga police officers responded and located a vehicle that matched an eyewitness description traveling north on Union Road, away from Galleria Drive.

The pet alligator taken from a house in Hamburg last year likely will not be returned to his owner any time soon, even after a recent judge's ruling opened the possibility of the animal coming home. A judge ruled that the state must re-examine a license application that may let a Hamburg man reclaim his 11-foot-long pet alligator. The Orchard Park School District is continuing with its $114 million capital project, despite contending with inflation, labor constraints and now, tariffs. All four elementary schools in Orchard Park will be expanded under the next, $26.9 million phase of the plan, which was approved in February by the school board. The bulk of that money will go toward adding six classrooms at each elementary school: Eggert, Ellicott, South Davis and Windom.
