    An adult Wawasee baseball team is being put together to play in the Fort Wayne Baseball Federation. The team will take part in games starting in early May of 2025 and is currently selecting a team name for the summer season. The Fort Wayne Baseball Federation typically plays their games at Carrington Field. The FWBF is an amateur league that has featured former and even future Major League Baseball players. Registration is $95 per player and it includes the cost of a custom jersey and hat.

    Wawasee girls wrestling will have their first ever home match Wednesday, Nov. 13. The Lady Warriors will host John Glenn at 6:45 p.m. and will have a special meet and greet with the community to follow. At the meet and greet, fans can meet the wrestlers and receive a commemorative poster autographed by the Lady Warriors. Girls wrestling is new as a sanctioned sport for the Indiana High School Athletic Association after a few years as an emerging sport.

The September board meeting allowed the program to continue but the team has to find a venue outside of school property to host practices. The space in the auxiliary gym where the equipment was set up can no longer be set up there.
