Participants raced down the crookedest street in San Franicsco, Vermont Street, which winds its way down Potrero Hill, on children’s Big Wheels and other children’s contraptions with many donning costumes and outfits as the crowd cheered them on for “Bring Your Own Big Wheel.” There was an hour long 13-and-under kids’ race before the two-hour adult race. The annual event was free but accepted donations to cover city permits and other costs.
