Savannah is preparing for the arrival of former U.S President and Republican Presidential nominee, Donald Trump. According to Savannah Now, he is expected to hold a rally in downtown Savannah, closing off streets around the Johnny Mercer Theatre Civic Center on Tuesday. His Savannah stop comes weeks after the arrival of Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, in coastal Georgia. His visit also takes place after following his rally in Atlanta on Aug. 3.

Georgia Southern’s intercampus shuttle is a free service for GS students, faculty, and staff to travel between the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses whenever the need arises.
