A teenager was ambushed near a Bronx church Tuesday morning — hit in a blast of bullets by a lone gunman, police said, as the youngster was reportedly returning home with his parents. Gunshots exploded around 11 a.m. outside a building on Webb and Reservoir avenues in Kingsbridge, near Our Lady of Angels church, authorities said. Cops rushing to the scene found the 18-year-old victim shot multiple times. The gunman escaped.

A trio of men were arrested for trying to enter the Brooklyn sewer system, cops said Tuesday, though it was unclear if the classic urban myth was their M.O.Willie Green, 39, Zion McKenzie, 25, and Shawan Thompson, 26, were caught attempting to get into the sewer system through a street manhole around 5:10 p.m. on 82nd St. and 17th Ave. in Bensonhurst on Monday. One of them told cops upon their arrest, “I was hired to clean the sewer,” sources said.

A subway surfer in the Bronx died early Wednesday morning after falling between train cars, police said. Cops responded around 3:15 a.m. to a northbound No. 1 train near the 238th St. station at Broadway in Kingsbridge, where they discovered the body of an unidentified man, said to be in his 30s, in between the train cars. It was suspected that the man fell between the train cars and died, police and MTA sources said.
