A man shot to death on a return visit to the Harlem NYCHA development where he grew up was a father of four with another child on the way, heartbroken relatives say. Christopher Jimenez, 34, was shot in the chest during a confrontation with two men in the lobby of a Manhattanville Houses building on W. 126th St. near Broadway about 5 p.m. Thursday, police said.

A trio of troublemakers sped through Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in a white car shooting pellet guns and gel guns at people dressed in traditional Hasidic Jewish garb, hitting at least seven persons over a two-day possible hate crime spree, a police source said. A 34-year-old man was fatally shot in the head near a Bronx elementary school, police said Wednesday. Carlos Teron was shot on Clinton Ave. near E. 179th St, next to P.S. 595 The Colibrí Community School, in East Tremont about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, cops said. Medics rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died a short time later from a gunshot wound to the head. Teron lived in Pelham Bay, according to cops. There were no immediate arrests.

Were they looking for an alligator? A trio of men were arrested for trying to enter the Brooklyn sewer system, cops said Tuesday, though it was unclear if the classic urban myth was their M.O.Willie Green, 39, Zion McKenzie, 25, and Shawan Thompson, 26, were caught attempting to get into the sewer system through a street manhole around 5:10 p.m. on 82nd St. and 17th Ave. in Bensonhurst on Monday. One of them told cops upon their arrest, “I was hired to clean the sewer,” sources said.
