Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - At approximately 11:50 p.m. on May 23, 2025, a Montana Highway Patrol trooper approached the roundabout between Lower Miller Creek Road and Upper Miller Creek Road. He observed a Nissan Sedan approaching the roundabout at a higher rate of speed than the posted 35 MPH speed limit. The trooper visually estimated the sedan’s speed to be between 45-50 MPH. As the vehicle entered the roundabout, the driver hit the right curb with his right tires.

Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - At approximately 8:45 p.m. on May 7, 2025, a Missoula Police Department officer was dispatched for a report of a man possibly breaking into a vehicle in the Orange Street Food Farm parking lot. Officers on scene had located the suspect at 601 S. Orange St. and he was later identified as 38-year-old Christopher Schwanz. Schwanz stated there was a vehicle in the Orange Street Food Farm parking lot with an open door, but he did not go into it.

Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On May 21, 2025, a Missoula County Sheriff’s Office corporal was driving his patrol vehicle eastbound on Highway 12. The corporal observed a silver Nissan heading westbound with a headlight out. The corporal turned around and initiated a traffic stop of the Nissan. Prior to the Nissan stopping, the corporal observed the car swerving in its lane, but it came to a stop. The corporal contacted the driver, 34-year-old Brent Hatfield, and the passenger.

Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On May 19, 2025, at approximately 4:41 p.m., a Missoula Police Department officer observed a passed-out or sleeping male in a vehicle parked behind Northgate Plaza. The vehicle was parked “semi-crooked” in a parking space and is associated with 45-year-old Jeremy Oltz, who is on probation. The officer exited her vehicle and approached the male, who was later confirmed to be Oltz.
