    Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - The Missoula County Attorney’s Office filed 18 new felony complaints this week, which is five more than last week and around the weekly average. County Attorney Matt Jennings provided the report. “Only 30% of those were violent crimes,” Jennings said. “We've been running about 50% for the last couple of years. We had six violent crimes, four endangering crimes, pretty much all involving driving, and only one property crime, which is good news.

    Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On or about April 15, 2025, a Missoula Police Department Officer responded to a call for service for a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot. The reporting party had been notified by a tenant that a black pick up with a topper had been parked in the back lot for the previous five days. The caller reported that one of the windows was broken out and he was unsure if the vehicle was stolen or not. The officer arrived and located the black Nissan pickup truck.

    Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On April 14, 2025, at approximately 2:53 PM, a Missoula Police Department Officer was dispatched to the Johnson Street Shelter regarding a male, later identified as 33-year-old William Sirucek, who was there. The caller stated they were asked to call if they saw Sirucek, presumably due to an outstanding $25,000 warrant. When the officer arrived, the staff pointed Sirucek out, and the officer walked over to where he was.

    Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On April 8, 2025, a deputy with the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office spoke with a manager with U-Haul. The manager stated that on April 1, 2025, 47-year-old Danyell Lewis rented a 10-foot box truck from U-Haul at their Highway 10 location. Lewis was supposed to return the vehicle by 5:00 p.m. that day but failed to do so. The manager attempted to contact her multiple times by calling and texting the two phone numbers provided on the contract but received no response.
