LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A party held at Conway's Fifth Avenue Park on Sunday quickly turned deadly after shots were fired. The tragic incident left two people dead and nine more were injured as a result of the shooting. Now, community members have been left with concerns over what happened. “All I can say is it was a good time, until everything switched, in the blink of an eye,” said Cartie Braggs, who was at the deadly shooting.

CAMDEN, Ark. — One Ouachita County deputy is now being hailed a hero after he saved a couple from flooding waters during last week's severe weather in Arkansas. “I just went because I was like, it's my job to do it, to go help others,” described Deputy Nathan Lane with the Ouachita Sheriff’s Office. After days of stormy weather, heavy flooding in the area forced some families in Ouachita County to evacuate their homes, some by vehicles, some by boat—but one family was helped by Deputy Lane.

CAMDEN, Ark. — The historic rains that stormed through the state last week are now bringing historic flooding to some parts of Arkansas. The Ouachita River is surging toward those new highs with the crest still hours away. So far, the highest crest on record for the Ouachita River was 46 feet and that record was set back in 1882. Fast forward to the present day, and the river is expected to crest at around 43 feet.
