PHOENIX — A group of migrants was recently detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after their Phoenix immigration court hearings were cancelled. The partner of one of those detained reached out to ABC15 with concerns about the process. Drew Partyka of North Phoenix says his partner, Geovanni, was one of the people detained. He says Geovanni came to the U.S. early last year from Mexico.

PHOENIX — Just because school is out doesn't mean the need for meals has gone away for Valley students and other individuals in need. In fact, St. Mary's Food Bank says the need goes up, and it's up to them to fill the gap where students aren't getting free breakfast and lunch. That's just one of the many goals of their annual Summer Feeding Program. St. Mary's says they're handing out roughly 6,000 meals every single day across 120 sites, benefiting students and others who really need it.

PHOENIX — Changes to dementia care in our state could be hitting a roadblock - and it's something that would impact more than 150,000 Arizonans 65 and up, according to the Alzheimer's Association's Desert Southwest chapter. For the past six months, groups like the Alzheimer's Association, medical experts, and industry leaders have been working together on an update to rules and guidelines for Arizona's memory care facilities, which would then be adopted by the Department of Health Services.
